Now in its 15th year, the Dawgy Dash 5K Walk/Run raises funds for local rescue group Circle of Friends Animal Society (COFAS.) Despite having no shelter building and no paid employees, COFAS has rescued more than 11,000 pets since the race began! COFAS rescues healthy puppies and kittens, as well as adult and senior pets, pets with injuries or illnesses, and pets with disabilities. The Dawgy Dash was created to support this commitment to the animals most in need.
This family-friendly, pet-friendly 5K run through the streets of Greensboro, beginning and ending at Oconee Brewing, is a local tradition that gets better every year! It’s the main fundraiser for COFAS, and provides them with a much-needed infusion of funds to continue to help homeless animals in our community.
Entries before April 22 are only $20. Race-day entries are also welcome at $25. Support the Dawgy Dash and be a hero for local pets!
