This recipe can be modified based on the number of people being fed.
a cut of top round
Lawry’s Steakhouse Marinade
buns (ideally brioche)
sliced cheese (pepper jack recommended)
Marinate the top round in the Lawry’s Steakhouse sauce.
Heat a grill or pan to searingly hot. Cook the top round for three minutes on one side, two minutes on the other side. (This is a thin cut of meat - Don’t overcook it! You want a light pink center.)
While the meat rests, lightly butters the inside of the buns and toast each side on the grill or pan. Melt the cheese on the bun.
Thinly slice the top round against the grain. Pile the meat on the bottom bun, add the top bun. Steak sandwich!
